Topic Editor

The HelpStudio Topic Editor features world class HTML editing features together with a template based layout that reduces to a minimum the amount of formatting you need to do on a Topic by Topic basis.

The editable area of the Topic is bordered by a dotted line. The header and footer areas around this are generated using a customizable HTML based template. Different types of Topics can use different page layouts if required. 

This approach saves time and effort formatting individual topics and enables you to change the look and feel of your help systems without re-working existing topics.

Dynamic spell checking in the Topic editor makes it easy to spot typos as you work..
The See Also Link Editor is used to add these links to a Topic. See Also link captions are automatically updated if the target topics title is changed, reducing maintenance effort. See Also links can be easily categorized and re-ordered using the editor.
As well as the visual editor, you can edit the topic content HTML source and preview exactly how the Topic will look in the generated help. The Tasks view allows you to create and edit tasks associated with this specific Topic.
