    Document!X on Vista

    Hi folks,

Has anyone tried using Document!X on Windows Vista? Any problems?

When will it be officially supported on Vista?

     thanks!

Document! X Vista support was introduced in 5.1.0.0. It seems that both the help file and the download page have not yet been updated with this information though - I have logged this for action so the next update will contain the correct information.

    Laura:

I am new to Document!X having just purchased it about 2 months ago.  I have only run the product on MS Windows Vista and I have had no operational problems with it at all.  In fact, I only run 64-bit client systems so it should be smooth sailing for you as it is for me should you run the product on 64-bit Vista as I do.

    Re: Document!X on Vista

I went ahead and put my Document!X on Vista a couple of weeks ago, and have had no problems till today. Adding a hotspot to an image (.png or .gif) in a content file crashes the Doc!X IDE. I tried the same action in the same project on XP and it works fine: apparently this is a Vista bug.

I'll tell Innovasys support (and have already uploaded any number of crashdumps!), but in the meantime, if anyone's got a workaround to this, please let me know!
