Our DBA team are pushing hard to get approval to buy the 5 licence pack for DocumentX.

At present only one DBA has DocumentX and the database templates in that single edition have been modified to include links to our knowledgebase web site and other information we consider important.

If we get approval for the extra 5 copies it would be great if we could simply copy these templates from our existing single installation to the new editions.  Is this possible?

Also, from previous correspondence we believe that the 5 licence pack comes with a command line utility to automate the rebuilidng of DocumentX projects.  Do we need to ask for anything in particular to get this utility or is it included in the 5 licence pack by default.

You can indeed copy the templates to the new machines - they are stored in the "\documents and settings\all users\application data\innovasys\documentx5\templates" directory.
